The Venturi Scrubberpage: Home > Gas scrubbers > Venturi scrubber PrincipleThis gas scrubber accelerates the scrubber liquid, together with the air or gas exhaust stream, to high velocities and turbulence. This happens in the bottleneck of the venturi. Behind this bottleneck, the pressure drops, reducing flow velocity back to normal. At this point, contaminant particles are collected and removed. Use
Venturi scrubbers are efficient at removing dust and particles.
Because of the high power consumption and its low overall efficiency however,
